Girls Leadership Development Initiative

(Funded by the German Embassy in Yaoundé – 2018) – 2018.

The project trained 92 (Ninety-two) internally displaced young women, female leaders and victims of gender-based violence aged 16 to 24 on human rights, gender-based violence, entrepreneurship/local detergent production and the use of ICT in addressing gender-based violence.

The community radio program component of the project – “Engage”, empowered 5000 community members in responding to and preventing gender-based violence.
