Promotion of Women's Economic Empowerment and Rights (POWER) Project

(Funded by the German Embassy in Yaoundé) Trained 200 women leaders from the conflict-affected NW and SW Region of Cameroon on Response to and Prevention of Gender Based Violence in crisis and Conflict more specifically on Gender, Peace and Security, built the entrepreneurship/income generating skills of 200 internally displaced women/teenage mothers (from the North West and South West Regions) and currently engaging communities on response to and prevention of GBV through community radio programs (that have reached over 8000 people in the 2 conflict-affected regions) and upcoming campaigns during 16 days of activism to end violence against women and girls.
