Lighting the way for Peace in Cameroon

Hope for the Needy Association with Mandela Washington Fellows from Cameroon traveled for more than 28 hours to the Far North Region of Cameroon to spend the Feast of the Ram with Victims of Boko Haram Attack and hold a workshop with youth leaders from this region. With food stuffs to join them in the hospital in celebrating the feast of the Ram and drugs to assist in their treatment, we ended the day with a workshop that brought together 33 youth Leaders from this part of Cameroon under the Theme: Light the Way for Peace.

The outcomes of hatred, bitterness, revenge, anger, cultural ethnocentrism, pride are alwasy far too expensive to pay. It brings forth shattered dreams and hopes, misplaced priorities, underdevelopment and more of sadness and pain.

\r\n

It is far easier and cheaper to take ‪#‎Astand‬$PeaceAndSecurity.

\r\n

The Youth Leaders joined their voices to that of others all over the world to Light the way for Peace in Cameroon and their priorities for the Cameroon they want post2015.

\r\n

The workshop ended with the launch of the Entrepreneurship Competition - \"I am Agric-cool\" where young people with outstanding Agric business ideas will be awarded prices worth $500. Stay tuned for updates.
