Poster design competition 2015

\r\n

The competition aims to create Value, generating dialogue on important topical issues and, at the same time, spreading the culture of graphic design.

\r\n

We believe that the design can change the world.

\r\n

Theme: “SEEDS OF PEACE: the Healing and building Power of Multicultural Dialogue”.

\r\n

By ‘Healing’, we mean - healing the wounds of separation inherent in modern society. We have misunderstood the real meaning of individualism by creating lives of isolation.

\r\n

‘Dialogue’, we believe, is more than an ordinary conversation.

\r\n

The purpose of dialogue is to understand others — not just to share our independent views. In a dialogue, we have a responsibility to listen to and enrich each other, understanding people’s feelings and bearing in mind that we ALL are part of a whole and we are not so “individual”.

Suggestions

\r\n

The images should speak for themselves. For this reason we do not recommend the use of the words \"seeds of peace\" or \"building and healing power of multicultural dialogue\" in the poster. However, This is only a suggestion and not a strict rule.

\r\n

We also hope the designers will deal with the information honestly and thoroughly, to avoid rhetorical posters, and be consistent to the theme of the competition itself.

\r\n

The competition is not about “War between people”, it is not a \"political\" contest. In the narrowest sense: the theme is humanistic and social.

\r\n

License and copyright

\r\n

By submitting an entry, the designers automatically agree their posters to be published. In particular they grant HOFNA, WFAC, YoureIn a license to use, copy, exhibit, publicly display and distribute the posters.

\r\n

The designers submitting any entry, grants the organizers permission to use their posters in any form and for any activity (exhibitions, publications, promotion activities, social activism campaigning, fundraising campaigns, etc.).

\r\n

Designers retain full ownership of their entry.

\r\n

Designers are guaranteed the right to be credited every time their entry is published or displayed.
