Today is not an easy day in the life of HOFNA. Not easy because we are confused. First on whether to remain here in Nwangri with you people for this warm and beautiful welcome you have given us or whether to remain here to enjoy this beautiful land with great, beautiful, intelligent and hardworking children, or whether to go back and continue to strive for the best for the growth of this beautiful and united community of Nwangri.

\r\n

To our Children in Nwangri, what HOFNA is doing in Nwangri today, is a symbol of our LOVE. Love for you as our children and love for Nwangri as a whole. In the past, parents who loved their children would build a house for them, plant cocoa nut trees in their names, or buy a land for them. As your mother that loves you so dearly, HOFNA has come today, to leave you with this legacy that nobody will fight it or take it away from you. Your education, especially to you as a girl child, is the only gift that when you receive, no one can ever take it away from you. Know that you can be as influential and successful as anyone else, anywhere in the world.

\r\n

On behalf of HOFNA, I plead to you my fellow sisters, who take care of this children - let no child, especially the girl child stay in the house for any reason what so ever. Today, Nwangri boasts of Great business men, Medical doctors, lawyers, and microfinance experts, all thanks to education. These children are the future of this great land Nwangri, our nation Cameroon and the world. Let us give them the chance to live their dreams. The chance to become the great men and women they want to become.

\r\n

To the staff and PTA of CS Nwangri, we congratulate you for the great work you have been doing from the very little or nothing that you have had. We know that you can never be paid or thanked enough for this heavy task of impacting knowledge to these very young ones. We want to assure you of our constant support to see into it that Nwangri children have that kind of education that they deserve to have like all other children in the world. We therefore urge you to always have it at the back of your minds that “service to humanity is the best work of life”. These gifts are meant to be enjoyed by the entire Nwangri community through your school. We know that you shall always handle them properly and be accountable for them so that they shall serve this great community till generations to come. Be rest assured that from time to time, HOFNA or the Nwangri cultural and development Association, on behalf of HOFNA, shall pass by to see how you are fairing with the gifts and how they are working for the good of these children.

\r\n

To the entire Nwangri community, HOFNA pleads that you send your children - our children to school. These beautiful children are so intelligent and have a lot of skills in them that with education, the output from them cannot be underestimated. I do not know what you think- but for me, I see the future presidents of our beautiful nation Cameroon, ministers, parliamentarians and medical doctors, among these children seated here before me. Let us grant them the opportunity to grow.

\r\n

HOFNA’s mission is helping people to achieve lasting positive changes in their lives. Our prayer is that through this small gesture of ours, Nwangri community will grow to enjoy fruitful lasting positive changes in all domains in life.

\r\n

To the entire HOFNA team and volunteers, Nwangri Cultural and Development Association, the PTA, staff and teachers of CS Nwangri, the entire Nwangri community and every individual of goodwill that gave this day this splendor that it deserves my deep appreciations go to you today. Your thoughtfulness has meant much more than words could ever say – Thank you.
